This is an unofficial poster that was not allowed to be published as Gislaved Däck was the main sponsor of the competition, and the poster contained too much GoodYear advertising in the picture and only Gislaved in one place. All of these posters had to be thrown away, but some never disappeared like this one. Gislaved Grand Prix of Sweden 1977, Scandinavian Raceway Anderstorp. Here Mario Andretti qualified in his John Player Special sponsored Lotus. Gunnar Nilsson who was Mario's teammate was noted for the seventh fastest lap and Ronnie Peterson in an Elf Tyrrell in tenth place. Conny Andersson in a Stanley-BRM P207 unfortunately did not qualify for the race. The winner was the Frenchman Jaques Laffite from eighth on the grid with his Ligier JS7-Matra. The German Jochen Mass in the Mclaren M26 took second place and Carlos Reutemann's Argentina Ferrari 312 T2 came in third. Neither Ronnie nor Gunnar had any luck that day. Ronnie broke after just seven laps and Gunnar gave up after 64 laps.
